How 2024 flipped my script but I rewrote it into a better story
Celebrating what demanded growth and shaped what’s to come
2024 has been nothing short of wild. This wasn’t an easy year by any stretch, as it has been filled with highs and lows, growth and recalibration.
As I reflect on it now, I see how these moments of setbacks and breaking points have shaped me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Each came with its own set of challenges, lessons, and shifts that demanded more from me.
But through it all, I’ve become more Soulfueled, course corrected paths that didn’t align, and set myself on a more exciting, aligned direction for what’s ahead.
So today, with the last post of the year, I’m celebrating my 3 proud moments of 2024. What I’m highlighting isn’t just for the events themselves but for what they taught me and who I had to become to make them happen.
Celebration 01 – Ending the dating chapter of my business
This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, yet it became one of the most transformative moments of my year and exactly what I needed to grow and fully embrace my new identity as the Soulfueled Entrepreneur.
Biggest win here: A client told me that she’s getting married next year, and what I shared about setting boundaries changed her approach to relationships and helped her find the right man for her!
What I learned: Authenticity and alignment are nonnegotiable. No amount of external strategies or hard work hustle can compensate for something that doesn’t truly light you up anymore. Letting go of what no longer serves you is not a failure—it’s an act of courage and self respect.
Who I became: This experience taught me to trust my intuition, even when the path forward felt uncertain and vulnerable. I became someone who values alignment over momentum, someone willing to pivot and embrace a new beginning, even if it means slowing down to rebuild.
Celebration 02 – Starting Soulfueled Entrepreneur
What started in June as an inspired outlet to share my experiences and thoughts has turned into something far more significant—a new chapter for my business and the start of a Soulfueled community rooted in alignment, authenticity, and sustainability.
Biggest win here: Having subscribers who believe in my Soulfueled mission enough that they’ve become annual paid subscribers AND founding members!
What I learned: Sometimes, the best ideas aren’t planned—they’re handed to you when you least expect them. I learned to embrace adaptability, trust my instincts, and allow space for my vision to expand beyond what I initially thought was possible.
Who I became: This experience taught me to lean into my unique strengths and courageously create something that aligns with my values. I quickly discovered that sharing my truths vulnerably and authentically connects me with others and helps pave a safe space where other entrepreneurs can discover their own paths, too. I am becoming someone who can trust in the process, surrender to the unknown, and build with intention and compassion.
Celebration 03 – Writing my fourth book
Sometimes, the most meaningful moments come unexpectedly. I didn’t start the year planning to write another book, let alone one that came together so quickly, but when opportunity appeared and inspiration struck, I knew I had to follow it. Writing “Outsmarting the Hustle” was born out of a series of serendipitous moments that had aligned perfectly to be created, and this became one of the proudest achievements of my year.
Biggest win here: I got 19 beta readers to go through my book, and got amazing positive feedback about what I shared! This helped me organize and solidify my Soulfueled strategies and inspired more ways to improve the book further, too.
What I learned: Trusting inspiration and letting go of overthinking can lead to incredible results. This project reminded me that when you create space to listen to what feels right to you and follow the flow, the how will figure itself out.
Who I became: I embraced the courage to share my hard won lessons with honesty and vulnerability and turn those past struggles into practical solutions you could learn from. It reinforced my commitment to creating from a place of intention and to leading with authenticity, even when the path feels uncertain.
What’s to come: A book launch, a quiz, and insightful new workshops and courses to help you learn more, adopt, and implement the Soulfueled way of entrepreneurship.
As I close out this wild, transformative year, I’m filled with gratitude—not just for the accomplishments, but for the lessons, the pivots, and the clarity they’ve gifted. Each moment of struggle and triumph has reminded me of the power of alignment, intention, and trusting the process.
Sure, I did do A LOT more in 2024, but that wasn’t what got me the results. It was about course correcting what no longer served me and stepping into better alignment with courage and authenticity. I’ve learned to embrace the unexpected, find strength in vulnerability, and go all in to build something Soulfueled—not just for myself, but also for you and the community I hope to inspire and grow.
As I look ahead to 2025, I’m excited for what’s to come and what we’ll create, share, and discover together as a Soulfueled community.
If you haven’t yet, take a pause and celebrate how far you’ve all come this year. Even if it doesn’t feel like it, you definitely have. Even if it’s mostly internal work, that’s still huge! Even if you had more stumbles than wins, those are still worth celebrating because of what they’ve taught you.

"Authenticity and alignment." Integrity, too. Listening for the voice I hear in what I call "active hesitation" where that which animates rises, and we give it just enough time to set a future course - or even just a response. It's the voice I always trust and act upon.
